2022 PRESEASON:
• PRESEASON ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE
2021 FALL: ALL-BIG SKY SECOND TEAM… TEAM CAPTAIN... Started all 12 games at center to move his career total to 35 starts… Anchored an offensive line that ranked second in the league with 178.5 yards rushing per game and was fourth overall with 407 total yards per contest… The offensive line allowed the 29th fewest sacks during the FCS regular season.
2021 SPRING: ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Started all five games at center, raising career total to 23 starts.
2019: Started six games at center, sitting out half the season due to injury... Earned one of team’s Championship Culture awards.
2018: HERO SPORTS FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICAN… PHIL STEELE THIRD TEAM FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICAN… Started all 12 games played… Recorded his first career tackle at Eastern Washington (12/8) in the Aggies’ inaugural FCS playoff game in program history.
2017: Redshirted.
THOUSAND OAKS HS '17: Earned All-CIF Southern Section first team honors as a junior... Led team to an 11-3 record and a berth in the CIF-SS finals that year... Two-year team captain for head coach Mike Leibin... Three-time All-Camino League pick, including first-team recognition in 2015 and 2016... Snared All-Ventura County first-team accolades in final two seasons... Played on both sides throughout his senior season... Won team's Most Improved Award as a sophomore, Outstanding Lineman as a junior, and team MVP as a senior... Three-year team Scholar-Athlete honoree... Named school's Student of the Month in September, 2016... Held a 4.0 grade-point average.
PERSONAL: Born in Thousand Oaks, Calif.... Majoring in viticulture & enology... Parents are Len and Karen Pettek.
