Athletics is ingrained in the UC Davis student experience. Aggie students can engage with athletics in a multitude of ways including: (1) as a fan cheering on their favorite teams and showing school spirit, (2) utilizing game day to market their talents, clubs and organizations or (3) working at games to add resume building skills (not to mention earning vital cash!)

Band, Cheer & DanceÂ
You can find some of the biggest promoters of Aggie Pride at our athletic events in the UC Davis Spirit Squad! The Spirit Squad consists of the UC Davis Cheer Team, the UC Davis Dance Team, and the UC Davis Marching Band. The group is entirely comprised of student ambassadors who showcase their talents at numerous athletic and community events. Each spirit squad member contributes a great deal of time and energy to achieve excellence in academics while supporting UC Davis Athletics and the community. The UC Davis Spirit Squad performs at home football games, basketball games, community and campus events, and more.Â
