2021 FALL: Appeared in 11 games and made seven starts… Registered 37 tackles with 17 solo stops, including two for a loss… Recorded one sack, one interception, two pass breakups and a quarterback hurry… Tallied four solo tackles and a sack against Dixie State (9/18)… Recorded a tackle and picked off a pass in the season-opening win on the road at Tulsa (9/2)… Had a season-high nine tackles, including one for a loss against Northern Arizona (11/6).
2021 SPRING: ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Won team’s BO EASON AWARD as most improved defensive player... Ranked 2nd on team and tops among 2021 fall returners with 34 total tackles (24 solo, 10 assist)... Also led Aggies with 7.5 TFL for 21 yards, including 2.0 sacks for 12 yards... Both sacks came in home opener with Cal Poly (3/20), snaring Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week accolades... Posted career-high 10 stops at Weber State... Halted RB Josh Davis after his fumble recovery (by Nick Eaton) for a 4-yard loss early in the 2nd quarter.
2019: Saw action in eight games as a reserve linebacker... Totaled 7 tackles (4 solos, 3 assists), with all three assist tackles coming at San Diego (9/7)... Earned Big Sky All-Academic.
FULLERTON COLLEGE: Earned All-Orange Empire second-team honors... Finished 5th on team with 38 tackles (22 solos, 16 assists)... Also had 4.0 TFLs for 21 yards, including 2.0 sacks for 17 yards... Posted season-high 10 stops at El Camino (11/3/18).
EL DORADO HS ’17: Snared first-team All-Century League distinction as a junior... Averaged 10 tackles per game in final season... Four-year Academic Honor Roll member... Also played two years of basketball for Golden Hawks.
PERSONAL: Born in Yorba Linda, Calif.... Managerial economics major... Parents are Eric & Melissa Hansen... Has one older sister, Lauren, who graduated from Long Beach State in 2019... Among his bucket list items: snowboarding in the Swiss alps... Career plans are to join the fire academy.
