DAVIS, Calif. – In the final meet of the 2025 outdoor track and field season, the Ags face off with causeway rivals Sacramento State in a thrilling dual showdown.
During the meet, the Ags recognized and celebrated the graduating class of 17 that has left an undeniable impact on the program, solidifying themselves into Davis history and memory forever. Their contributions and talents will be missed by the entire squad.
On the women's side, we honored

On the men's side, we were proud to celebrate

Francisco Sanchez, Nickolaus Santos, and
Darien Langley.
In the dual matchup against the Hornets, the Ags registered 14 first place finishes and a whooping 85 top-five finishes in the meet.
HOW IT HAPPENED (MEN):
Senior
Harrison Hansen clocked his first ever Aggie career win, throwing the javelin 47.36 meters as a sweet way to start off the senior meet.
Aidan led the men's pole vault with a remarkable jump of 4.98m, proving himself as a top competitor in this challenging event. Not far behind, senior
Ryan Ishibashi took second to stave off the Hornets.
Jacob Lawrence led the Aggie pack and showcased his endurance and speed in the 1,500M run, crossing the finish line first with a time of 3:58.35.
Daren Randolph made incredible strides in the long jump, crossing 7.28 meters of space for the first place title in the event.
Chance Tokubo clocked a 9:30.50 in the 3,000M Steeplechase, showcasing incredible athleticism through the obstacles.
HOW IT HAPPENED (WOMEN):
Freshman
Lauren Villegas started the women's group off strong, clocking in first place in the 5,000 meter run with a quick time of 17:19.02 for her golden finish in the event.
Senior
Brianna Nunn registered two first place titles; one in the javelin throw and one in the shot put for a successful senior meet.
Maya Shinnick had an outstanding performance in the 200M dash, finishing first with a time of 24.47 seconds, showcasing her incredible agility.
Senior
Sarah Graessley dominated the pole vault event, securing first place with a height of 3.78m, demonstrating her exceptional technique and strength.
Freshman
Kayla Towne excelled in the 1,500M run as well, finishing first with a time of 4:41.32, highlighting her talent and determination as a distance runner.
Kayla Rutz took gold in the 3,000M Steeplechase, brandishing an impressive 11:14.88 finish in the obstacle-ridden event.
UP NEXT: The team will have a moment of reprieve as they regroup and prepare for Big West Conference Championships, hosted in Long Beach, California. The Multis will be held May 9-10, and the rest of the competition will ensue the following weekend, the 16-17
th.
