UC Davis Athletics

2025: Competed in seven meets for the Aggies...Recorded two first place finishes, and only collected top-five performances...Set his personal best in the pole vault event at the West Coast Relays, vaulting over 5.16 meters of air for the first place finish in the event...Collected another first place result at the Causeway Classic with a 4.98 meter finish...Third in the conference at the Pole Vault, finding bronze after his 4.90 performance at the Big West Conference Championships. 

2024: Competed in eight meets for the Aggies in his debut season...Took first in the pole vault and fifth in the javelin throw at the Aggie Open, PRing his JT (43.59m, 143')...Set a personal record in the pole vault at the Hornet Invite, taking fourth place with his 4.90 meter (16' 0.75") flight...Posted second at the Stanford Invitational in pole vault with a 4.77 meter finish...Took 9th overall in the Decathlon at the Big West Champs, taking an impressive PR of 5387...Had 24 top ten finishes on the season in a mixed bundle of performances  

2023: Aidan took a redshirt in his first year.

Foothill Technology HS (2019-2022): Aidan joins the Aggies from Foothill Technology High School in Ventura, CA. During his high school career, he was on the cross country team for 2 years and the track & field team all 4 years. A jack of all trades, he competed in many events for the Dragons, including distance events, pole vault, high jump, long jump, hurdles, and discus. During his junior year (2021) he became the school record holder for pole vault with 14' 6" and earned honors of First Team All League and Academic All League. During his senior year (2022), Aidan broke his own school record for pole vault with a height of 15' 6", earning First Team and Academic All League honors once again. He also posted a high jump of 5' 10". To wrap up his high school career, he won the Boys Varsity Dragon of the Year award, placed 7th in the state, and was awarded the Mike Russell Scholarship. 

PERSONAL:  In addition to high school sports, Aidan also competed with the Sky Jumpers Vertical sports club in Atascadero, CA from 2020 to 2022.

Aidan is the son of Gabriel Hagerty and Jennifer Constantine and the middle sibling between his two brothers, Raine and Dylan. He is a systems and synthetic biology major and his goal is to work for and eventually create his own biotech startup one day.

Aidan says he decided to join UC Davis Athletics because of the "coaches level of commitment to their athletes and academics."
