DAVIS, Calif, — UC Davis track and field will take to Woody Wilson Track one final time in 2019 for the 14th Annual Causeway Classic dual meet against Sacramento State on Friday, April 26.
Starting with the field events at 2 PM, women's hammer will kick off action for the Aggies, followed by the men at the Hammer Ring adjacent to the Schaal Aquatics Center on the southwestern edge of campus. Also at 2 PM will be those competing in the men's javelin, before the track events start at 3:45 PM with the 4x100m relays.
Friday's meet will also serve as Senior Day for nearly two dozen Aggies, as this is the last of UC Davis' three home meets this season. The 2019 senior class will graduate as one of the most decorated in Aggie history, as they will leave with over 30 all-time marks in the UC Davis outdoor record book, and three school records. The awards ceremony for Friday's meet will commence at 7:10 PM, announcing the winner of the Causeway rivalry, along with a recognition for this year's seniors.
Live results are available through Red Cap Timing, and the meet will begin at 2 PM. There will also be free In-n-Out for the 25 loudest fans at the meet.
