2021: Tied for 8th in pole vault at Big West Conference Championships with 3.74m/12-3.25 leap... Broke 12-foot mark on two other occasions: 3.80/12-5.5 at Sac State Invite (4/17), then PR of 3.82m/12-6.25 in the Causeway Track Classic at home (4/30)... Indoor season was canceled due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
2020: Did not compete in either indoor nor outdoor season... Earned All-Academic from both MPSF (indoors) and Big West (outdoors), plus made Big West Commissioner’s Honor Roll with honors (3.21-3.50 GPA).
2019: Competed in pole vault seven times, javelin throw thrice... Hit season-best 3.65m/11-11.75 at Mike Fanelli Classic (3/29) and Causeway dual (4/26)... Best javelin was 37.73m/123-9 at Woody Wilson Classic... Placed 16th in JT at Big West meet (34.92m/117-7).
VISTA MURRIETA HS ’18: Four-year letter winner in track and field for the pole vault… Qualified for the CIF Prelims sophomore year… Took second place at the Arcadia Invitational and Southwestern League Finals… Junior class record holder with 11-06.00 vault… Was Southwestern League Champion senior year… Set the school record with a 12-03.00 height… Athlete of the Month senior year... Vaulted for Murrieta’s Vaulter Club for three years.
PERSONAL: From Murrieta, Calif… Parents are Stacy and Kent Meier… Has two younger siblings, Sierra and Kaleb… Graduated in top six percent of the 2018 class… Four-time 4.0 and Above Honor Roll distinction… Scholar-Athlete from 2016-18… High school pole vault record is career sports highlight so far… Proudest personal accomplishment is playing the flute at Carnegie Hall in New York with a band… Favorite hobbies include playing the flute, reading, and running - but not super fast… Chose UC Davis Athletics because she loved the atmosphere at Davis, and it provides a great opportunity to continue learning in biology while pursuing pole vaulting.
