A four-sport athlete for Novato HS… Voted team captain of the soccer team his freshman year… Played as a guard on the basketball team and a cornerback on the football team for two years… Did the long jump and triple jump junior and senior years… Set the school record in long jump with 23-02.00 his senior year… Won MCLA’s and NCS Redwood Empire, and took fourth place at MOC in the long jump... Competed at Santa Rosa Junior College, focusing on the long jump.

Born in Vallejo, Calif… Parents are Nita and Steve Gibson… Has four younger siblings, Malaya, Myles, Malcolm, and Miranda… Proudest personal accomplishment is that his college GPA is a full point higher than his high school GPA was… Favorite movie is Interstellar… Non-sports hero is his mother… Favorite hobbies include video games and Fantasy Football… Chose UC Davis Athletics because of the high importance placed on personal and academic growth.
