2020: Did not compete in indoor nor outdoor season... Earned Big West Academic All-Confrence and Big West Commissioner’s Honor Roll nod.
2019: Placed 10th in 100 hurdles (14.80) at Big West Conference Championships... Hit season-best 14.73 at Bryan Clay Invite (4/19)... Ran 1:01.36 in 400 hurdles in Causeway Track Classic (4/26) to move into 9th in school history, but was DQ’d in the event at conference.
BELLA VISTA HS ’18: Three-time CVC Individual Champion in the 100m and 300m hurdles… Three-time SJS D2-D3 Champion in the 100m hurdles, and two-time Champion in the 300m hurdles… Competed in pole vault, hurdles, and sprints… Was a Sac Joaquin Section Masters Finalist in 100 hurdles, and took fourth in both the 100m and 300m hurdles, and set the 4x100 and 4x400 school record to earn Frosh/Soph Girls Most Outstanding Track Athlete her first two years… Made the All-City Team from 2015-17… 2017 CIF State finalist in the 300 hurdles… 2017 and 2018 CIF State prelims qualifier in 100 hurdles… Set the 300m hurdles school record junior year with a 42.47 run… Set the 400m school record her senior year, running 56.59, and the 100 hurdles record with a 14.17 time… Two-time Varsity Girls’ Most Outstanding Track Athlete… 2017-18 Female Athlete of the Year.
PERSONAL: Born in Sacramento, Calif… Parents are Sara Chacon and Jonathan Peschke… Has a younger brother, Roman… Graduated from HS with honors… Hispanic Scholar Award honoree in 2017… Career sports highlight is getting disqualified in the 300m hurdles, only to make the CIF State meet in the 100m hurdles with a huge PR a week later… Favorite color is yellow… Favorite movie is Indiana Jones… Top three things on her bucket list are to travel the world, skydive, and bungee jump… Chose UC Davis Athletics because of the knowledgeable coaching staff, competitive team, and wide range of highly-ranked majors.
