2021: Had team’s best 400 hurdles times, hitting 1:06.23 at Sac Tri-Team (2/27) followed by 1:06.93 at CSF (3/4) in her lone appearances.
2020: Went 1:02.35 at Cal Opener (3/7) before season was halted due to COVID-19 pandemic... Posted team’s indoor season best in 400 (56.52) at Don Kirby Invite (2/13)... Earned MPSF All-Academic (indoor) and Big West Academic All-Conference (spring), plus Big West Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2019: Placed 7th in 400 hurdles at Big West Conference Championships with season-best 1:01.57, moving into school’s all-time outdoor top 10 list... Also member of second-place 4x400 (3:40.89) at conference meet, tying 2014 squad for 5th in Aggie outdoor record book... First broke 1:02 barrier at USC Trojan Invite (1:01.95), then did it again with 1:01.86 at Long Beach State before improving to 1:01.72 in Big West prelim heat.
2018: Consistently competed in the 400 hurdles and the 4x400 relay, and made appearances in the 200 and 400 meter dashes… Received the second-best 400 hurdles time and the fifth-best 400 meter time on the UC Davis Outdoor Track and Field Performance list, clocking in times of 1:02.02 and 56.39, respectively… Was either the first or second string on the women’s 4x400 relay team… Helped the Aggies receive the top four best 4x400 relay times of the season... During the indoor season, she posted season-best times of 25.63 and 56.89 in the 200 and 400 meter events, respectively… Was the first string on the women’s 4x400 relay team.
ALTA LOMA HS’17: DId track and field all four years, competing in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 100m hurdles, and 300m hurdles as a senior… Set her 200m, 400m, 600m, 100m hurdles, and 300m hurdles personal bests of 25.24, 57.89, 1:44.73, 15.08, and 42.80, respectively, during the 2017 outdoor season… Set her 100m personal best of 11.94 during the 2015 outdoor season… Was a CIF Prelims qualifier all four years, CIF Finals qualifier her last three years, and was a CIF Masters qualifier as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil… Majoring in global disease biology… Co-founded then presided over Coalition of African Diaspora Student-Athletes, a resource group for athletes of color... Says her proudest personal accomplishment is being awarded a scholarship at UC Davis… Her sports hero is Flojo, and her non-sports hero is her mother… The top three things on her bucket list is to become a surgeon, qualify for the Olympics, and travel the world… Chose UC Davis because of the outstanding coaching staff and academics.
