Biography

2021: Finished 14th in 200 (season-best 22.20) at Big West Conference Championships, one of five appearances in that event... Also ran 100 three times, posting SB of 11.04 at home in Causeway Track Classic (4/30).

2020: Won 200 (21.86) and 4x100 relay (41.62) at Cal Opener before COVID-19 pandemic halted season... Big West Spring Academic All-Conference and Commissioner’s Honor Roll member.

2019: Placed 17th in 100 (11.01), 4th as part of 4x100 (41.17) at Big West meet... Broke 11-second barrier three times, including season-best 10.86 in Cal Opener (3/2)... Also ran 200 of 22.02 at Cal... Big West Academic All-Conference honoree.

2018: Took 9th in 100 (10.99), 8th in 200 (22.09) at conference championships... Ran season-best 21.58 in prelims before advancing to Big West final... Also part of 3rd-place 4x100 (40.88) at conference meet... Made four appearances in 400, including 49.93 at home in Woody Wilson Classic (4/14). 

GYMNASIUM BEI ST. ANNA AUGSBURG’15/WILLIAM JEWELL COLLEGE’17: Did sprints in track and field for all four years of high school… Was the U16 State Champion in the 4x100m in his freshman year and the U18 State Champion in the 200m event in his junior year… Ending his senior year competing in the 2015 outdoor season, he got a second place finish at the U20 Indoor State Championships in the 200m, and a third place finish in the 4x100m at both the U20 and U23 State Championships… Competed two season at William Jewell College… During the 2016 outdoor season, he set school records in the indoor and outdoor 200m event with times of 22.01 and 21.84, respectively.

PERSONAL: Born in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany… Majoring in Managerial Economics… Parents are Heidi and Alexander… His career sports highlight was competing in the German Trials for the IAAF World U20 Championships… Says his sports hero is Christophe Lemaitre, while his non-sports hero are his parents… His favorite hobbies are spending time with friends and reading… The reason he chose UC Davis was because of the great athletic and academic environment.
