DAVIS, Calif. — For the second time in her career, UC Davis senior midfielder Morgan Caldera has been named the MPSF Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Caldera earned the honor following a dominant opening weekend on attack for the Aggies, highlighted by her two-goal performance in a 2-1 overtime victory over Central Michigan on Friday, Aug. 28. She opened the scoring with a second-quarter tally before burying the walk-off game-winner just 73 seconds into 11-v-11 extra time.

Across two contests, Caldera recorded two goals, four points, one game-winning tally, and a perfect 1.000 shot-on-goal percentage. With her opening-weekend output, she currently leads the Aggies in both goals and total points while setting a new single-season career high in goals just two games into the campaign.
