COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The NFHCA proudly recognizes thousands of outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from over 82 institutions on the 2025 Division I National Academic Squad.
The NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
UC Davis had a remarkable 16 members of the National Academic Squad and 11 Scholars of Distinction recognized this season.
Scholars of Distinction are defined as exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
UC Davis field hockey was also named the National Academic Team for 2025, and for the first time since 2018. The National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester.
UC Davis field hockey rounds out the year with academic accolades, showcasing the excellence of the program both on the field and in the classroom.
