The UC Davis Aggies are one of 11 total teams competing for the Big West Championship title this season.
Looking to build on a historic legacy, the Aggies return to the championships after placing seventh on the women's side and ninth on the men's side last year, a performance highlighted by five podium finishes across a multitude of events.
The Aggies enter the weekend carrying significant momentum after a regular season that saw the program secure nearly 50 individual event titles. UC Davis set the tone early at the Aggie Open with 23 first-place finishes, followed by strong showings at the West Coast Relays with five first-place finishes and the Causeway Classic with another 17.
The squad is led by several standout multi-event winners, headlined by
Jake Joerger and
Kylee Davis, who each racked up four individual titles across the spring.
Kadidja Sangare and
Maya Shinnick both secured two individual victories apiece to lead the women's sprints and jumps, while
Jacob Beals,
Anicia Garvin,
Atianna Marquez,
Brooke Butler, and
Aidan Hagerty also all finished the regular season with two individual first-place finishes.
In addition to four relay victories from the squad, 20 other Aggies secured at least one individual event title during the outdoor campaign. Backed by this collective depth and a season of high-level preparation, the Aggies arrive in Long Beach ready to make their mark on the conference stage.
