RENO, Nev. — Coming off a record-setting performance at the Nevada Invite, UC Davis women's indoor track and field prepares for a two-meet split Feb. 13-14, dividing its roster between the Battleborn Classic in Reno and the Husky Classic in Seattle.

The Aggies open a busy Friday morning in Reno at 10 a.m. with
Hailey Hernandez and
Ningning O'Brien in the weight throw, followed by a strong presence in the jumps at 12 p.m. featuring
Kylee Davis,
Riley Lankford,
Kadidja Sangare,
Francesca Villain, and
Shae Wright. On the Reno track, Sangare leads off in the 60m hurdles at 12 p.m., while a deep sprint group including Davis,
Lily Holman, Lankford, and
Rujeko Munetsi takes on the 60m dash at 1 p.m.
Distance action begins in the afternoon across both locations. In Reno,
Kiah Aitken and
Gracie Trenam run the mile at 2 p.m. followed by
Brooke Butler in the 5,000m at 3:15 p.m.. Meanwhile, in Seattle,
Fiona McGrath makes her Husky Classic debut in the 5,000-meter run, competing in the evening sections starting at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday's competition begins with the Aggies split between field events in Reno and distance heats in Washington. Starting at 10 a.m. in Reno, Davis returns for the high jump while
Chinyere Egbuziem and
Maya Ifo-Desai lead the shot put. Simultaneously at the Husky Classic,
Peyton Adams and
Hannah Aguirre begin the mile in the seeded morning sections at 11:10 a.m.
Back on the Reno track, the Aggies field a deep lineup in the 400m at 10 a.m. with
Ashleigh Christy,
Elle Middleton,
Avah Reichow, and
Maya Shinnick.
Dominika Janik follows in the 800m at 11:45 a.m. before Holman, Middleton, and Munetsi contest the 200m dash at 12:30 p.m..
The weekend concludes with distance efforts in both states, as Aitken,
Cassidy Kajita, and Trenam run the 3,000m in Reno at 2:30 p.m.. Depending on morning results in Seattle, Adams and Aguirre may also qualify for the Husky Invite Mile section at 2:20 p.m. The Aggies will officially close out the weekend in Reno with the 4x400m relay at 3 p.m.
