THE SHORT STORY: UC Davis surged up the leaderboard in Round 2 of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, firing a 4-under 284 to climb into a tie for 14th. The highlights came from Ivan Sablan, who recorded his first-ever hole-in-one, and Louis Grizot, who fired a lights-out 66 (-6) on the Silver Course with five birdies and an eagle to grab a three-stroke lead at 135 (-9). On the Blue Course, Treed Huang paced the Aggies with a 68 (-4) to tie for 36th overall, while Ryan Firpo added a steady 71 (-1).

- Huang led the Aggies with a 68 (-4), climbing nearly 60 spots on the leaderboard to T36
- Firpo delivered consistency with a 71 (-1), moving into a tie for 43rd at 146
