DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis men's golf set a new program record for team GPA in the Winter 2026 academic quarter, posting a 3.43 to break the program's previous high of 3.40 set in Spring 2020. The mark stood as the highest team GPA among all UC Davis men's programs this quarter and tied as the sixth-highest team GPA recorded by a UC Davis men's team in department history.
The achievement contributed to a department-wide quarterly GPA of 3.30, tied for the fourth-highest mark in UC Davis Athletics history. Across the department, 442 student-athletes earned a 3.00 GPA or higher (72.34%), with 72 student-athletes recording a perfect 4.00.
The Aggies' performance in the classroom mirrored the program's continued investment in academic accountability and balance with competitive demands. Men's golf has consistently ranked among the top-performing UC Davis men's programs in academic reporting, and the Winter 2026 mark cements the program's commitment to excellence on and off the course.
