Ido Goldschmidt scored three goals while five other Aggies each added two, helping No. 11 UC Davis claim a 16-8 win over No. 15 San Jose State in men's collegiate water polo action at West Valley College Saturday.
The Aggies improve to 4-2 for the year. The Spartans open at 0-1.

UC Davis also faced host West Valley College for an exhibition game later on Saturday. No scores were available. The Aggies host the three-day Aggie Roundup tournament starting Friday. UC Davis plays all of its games on the Saturday portion of the weekend, taking on Harvard (8 a.m.), USC (1 p.m.) and Chapman (6 p.m.).
