PERSONAL: Born in Santa Maria, Calif.... Majoring in viticulture & enology, which first drew him to the university... Parents are Robert & Julie Knight... Part of a collegiate water polo tradition in his family: Robert played at Chico State while two different uncles competed for UC Irvine and Redlands.
