Thomas Kiesling Named ACWPC Third Team All-American

DAVIS, Calif. — Already named an All-Big West First Team selection, UC Davis water polo's Thomas Kiesling has landed on the 2025 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-American Team, making the list as a third-teamer.

This marks the second time that Kiesling has made an All-American team in his career, making it onto last year's list as an Honorable Mention.

This honor comes after a 2025 season where Kiesling led the Aggies in goals (63) and total points (75). He also picked up 15 steals and had seven field blocks.

In addition to scoring 10 hat tricks throughout the season, Kiesling has also scored five or more goals five different times, including a career-high seven goals in a matchup with Loyola Marymount on Oct. 4. Among Big West attackers, Kiesling's 63 scores rank third.

Each year, the ACWPC makes it its mission to elevate the game of collegiate water polo across all levels of competition. This season, 63 Division I student-athletes have been recognized across four All-American teams—First Team, Second Team, Third Team, and Honorable Mention—placing Kiesling among the nation's top performers in 2025.
