LOS ANGELES -- UC Davis junior Elise Roberts won the 200 breaststroke, and the 200 freestyle relay squad of Courtney Schultz, Mia Facey, Jamie Pincin, and Kirsten Brand, finished first to close out the meet, helping lift the Aggies to a trio of dual victories in a six-team meet on Saturday afternoon at the Spieker Aquatics Center on the campus of UCLA.

The Aggies defeated Oregon State, 184-52, and posted wins over Mountain Pacific Sports Federation rivals San Diego (179-63) and UC Santa Barbara (153-83), in the meet, while falling to No. 19 UCLA, 149-88, and Florida Gulf Coast, 133-109. UC Davis now stands at 4-2 overall in duals this season, 2-0 against MPSF opponents.

Roberts, who won the 200 breast in a dual meet win over Loyola Marymount on Friday, won the event for the second straight day in the next-to-last race of the meet, touching in a time of 2:18.42 to top second-place Heaven Quintana of UC Santa Barbara by just over a second, and shave better than three seconds off her winning time at LMU. The Aggies then followed with a win in the 200 free relay as freshman Jamie Pincin swam an anchor leg split of 22.96 to bring home the victory.

A pair of UC Davis swimmers also produced podium finishes on the day at senior Kirsten Brand finished second in the 50 free with a time of 23.60 to finish behind Florida Gulf Coast's Katie Latham (23.21), while senior Marissa Brown ended up third in the 500 free with a time of 5:01.79. On the boards, sophomore Shaifali Goyal finished third in the 3-meter competition with a score of 239.60, while senior Serena Yee was fourth on the 1-meter board with a score of 243.25.

A number of Aggies finished among the top five: Brown set up her third-place finish in the 500 free with a fourth-place finish in the 1000 free (10:29.42), Courtney Schultz followed up her two wins at LMU with a fourth-place finish in the 200 free (1:52.57), sophomore Mia Facey ended the day fourth in the 100 free (51.83), sophomore Solie Laughlin finished fourth in the 200 back (2:02.76), and sophomore Kristin Schumann touched in a time of 2:20.86 to finish fourth in the 200 breast.

UC Davis competes at home for the first time this season, hosting MPSF foe BYU at the Schaal Aquatics Center on Friday (Oct. 28) at 4 p.m. It will be the first of back-to-back home meets for the Aggies, who welcome Nevada on Nov. 4, before competing at the Phill Hansel Invitational in Houston Texas on Nov. 18-20, to close out the fall schedule.
