2016-17: Set season-best times in four events at the Phill Hansel Invitational in Houston in the 50 free (25.48), 100 breast (1:07.19), 200 breast (2:23.88), and 200 IM (2:14.45)... Finished with a time of 59.45 in the 100 free against conference rival UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 14... Also set season-best times in the 100 fly (1:09.63) and 100 back (1:11.77) at the Aggie Open.
FOOTHILL COLLEGENamed the Foothill College Student-Athlete of the Year as a sophomore… Won the 200 breast at the 2016 California Community College Athletics Association state championships for the second straight season with a time of 2:25.96…Also finished second in the 100 breast (1:06.14) and sixth in the 50 free (24.80) at that same meet… The Owls finished ninth overall at the state meet -- the highest finish in school history to that point... Also part of the school's record-setting 4x100 medley relay… Set a school, Coast Conference, and CCCAA State record in the 200 breast (2:22.99) at the league championship meet… Set a school record in the 50 free at the conference championships with a time of 24.46… As a freshman, won the 200 breast in a state championship record time of 2:24.24… Earned a total of nine All-America honors in swimming and also one in water polo during her career at Foothill College… Northern California Community College Women's Water Polo second team selection in 2015… Finished the year with 41 goals, 14 assists, and 60 steals… Helped the Owls to a fourth-place finish in the state in 2015.
PIONEER HS '14Helped the Mustangs to a Blossom Valley Athletic League Mt. Hamilton Division championship as a senior… Won the 100 breast (1:06.59) and finished second in the 200 IM (2:11.86) as a senior… Twice a member of the school's All-American 200 medley relay team in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
PERSONALParents are Robert and Bernadette… Had two cousins that also attended UC Davis… Her uncle, Dave, was also a swimmer and water polo player at Chico State… Is obsessed with anime and manga… Lists her proudest personal accomplishment as being accepted to UC Davis… Lists winning an individual event at the state championship meet two years in a row as her career sports highlight… If she could play any other sport at UC Davis, it would be water polo.
