2016: ALL-AMERICA EAST ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL... Competed in 14 games... Earned her first start as an Aggie at Iowa (10/9)... Recorded a shot vs. LIU Brooklyn (9/25) and at Iowa... Her swing against the Hawkeyes was on goal.

2015: Made her UC Davis debut vs. Bryant (8/31)... Competed in nine games and earned her first start against Saint Louis (9/3)... Recorded a season-high two shots against the Billikens... Both of those shots were on goal. 

SAN PASQUAL HS '15: Four-time USA Field Hockey Futures participant...  Four-year letterwinner as a forward, midfielder and defender at SPHS... Helped the Golden Eagles win four straight Avocado East Division titles... Led the team to a 21-5 overall and 10-0 league mark as the team's starting midfielder/defender last year... Named to the Avocado East League's second team... Earned All-CIF first team honors and was one of the top five scorers in San Diego's Division I as a senior... Captured all-league second team and San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team accolades as a junior... Scored nine goals as a sophomore - her first season as a starting defender... SPHS advanced to the CIF finals that season... Received the Golden Eagle Award as a sophomore - presented to the player(s) that best represents the team on and off the field... As a freshman, she was the only first-year player named to the school's varsity team... Competed in the CIF semifinals during her first season on roster.

PERSONAL: The youngest of Danielle and Kathy Puplava's two children… Joseph is her older brother… Spent the last three years of her high school career competing for Rush Field Hockey Club (San Diego)… That team won the 2013 Festival Tournament Pool J… Not many people know that she sang in her high school's choir... She also loves to make (throw) ceramics... Receiving the Golden Eagle Award from her teammates as their best representatives is her proudest personal accomplishment... The Olympic Training Center in Otay Mesa is her favorite non-UC Davis facility... If she could play another sport at UC Davis, she would choose the long distance events in track... Plans to become a wildlife biologist... Seeing the Northern Lights is on her bucket list... Chose UC Davis because of its field hockey coaching staff and the team.
