2010: Placed 13th in both 100 hurdles (season-best 14.72) and triple jump (11.10m, 36-5) at Big West Conference Championships... Won Johnny Mathis Invite with wind-aided 11.78m (38-7.75)... Best wind-legal jump was 11.65m (38-2.75) at Brutus Hamilton... Posted indoor-best triple jump of 11.15m (36-7) at Washington Invitational... Earned Big West All-Academic status.
2009: Competed in 100 hurdles (10th) and triple jump (16th) at Big West Conference meet... Went 14.90 in conference short hurdles prelims, just a tenth off her season-best 14.80 at Sac State Open from the previous weekend... Posted wind-aided triple of 11.94m (39-2.25) at Aggie Open, then notched wind-legal best of 11.60m (38-0.75) at Cal-Nevada State Championships.
2008: Placed 15th in triple jump (10.37m, 34-0.25), 16th in 100 hurdles (15.20) at Big West Conference meet... Fastest wind-legal hurdles mark was 15.26 in Aggie Twilight meet... Also had best triple in that meet, posting 11.12m (36-5.75) effort.
MISSION SAN JOSE HS [apos]07: Two-year MVP in track as a hurdler/jumper... Finished 9th in shot (35-8.75) at 2007 North Coast Section Meet of Champions... Placed 3rd in both hurdles at Mission Valley Athletic League meet in each of her junior and senior years... Prep PRs were 13.04 in 100, 15.23 in 100 hurdles, 36-11.5 in triple jump... Captured All-MVAL honors in soccer as a junior (second team) and senior (first team)... Two-year Scholar-Athlete honoree.
PERSONAL: Born in Mountain View, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Charles Okwudiafor & Helen Kerri... Charles was also a track athlete in his day.
