Career Bests:

2016: Participated in 10 meets, including is third appearance at the Big West Championships... Finished second at the Woody Wilson Classic with a PR hammer throw of 54.59m (178-9)... Placed third in Causeway Dual and at the Mondo Team Challenge... Only competed in hammer throw.

2015: Competed in seven meets, all of them in the hammer throw... Posted a career-best mark of 50.20m (164-8) for sixth-place points at the Causeway Dual against rival Sacramento State.

2014: Saw action in eight meets including the Big West Championships... Went 37.86m (124-2) for top discus mark and 47.59m (156-2) in first meet of the season at Cal.

2013: Competed in seven meets, posting season-best marks of 10.85m (35-7.25) in the shot put, 42.54m (139-7) in the discus and 42.52m (139-6) in the hammer throw.

SEQUOIA HS '12: All-Peninsula Athletic League honoree in both track & field and football... Two-time Central Coast Section qualifier in discus, placing 16th and 11th in junior and senior seasons, respectively... Fired prep PR of 140-2 to finish 2nd at PAL Championships in 2012... Team MVP in football as an offensive tackle and linebacker, helping team to 11-1-1 record and CCS title as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born in Fiji... Cell biology major, with plans on attending medical school... Parents are Yogenda & Geeta Ram... Less-known about him: he plays the clarinet and ukelele... Competed for Fiji at 2016 Melanesian Championships.
