2018: 2018 BIG WEST DECATHLON CHAMPION… Is now ranked in third on the all-timers list in the decathlon with 7,181 points, which was received at the Big West Multi-Event Championships… Also made the top 10 list for the 110 hurdles, residing in seventh place with a time of 14.51 seconds… Broke personal-best records in a total of seven events, three of which took place at the Big West Multis… Ran a best time of 11.00 seconds in the 100 meter, recorded a personal best shot put throw of 10.30m/33-9.50, and tied his personal-best pole vault of 4.52m at the Big West Multis… Set his 200 meter at the Woody Wilson Classic and 400 meter at the Cal Opener with times of 23.14 seconds and 51.11 seconds, respectively… Recorded top seven Aggie marks for the 110 hurdles and the top five Aggie marks for the high jump during the season.

2017: BIG WEST CHAMPION and NCAA West Regional qualifier in the high jump for the second consecutive year (6-11.5)... Finished third in the decathlon to earn All-Conference honors and move to No.8 all-time (6787)... Won the high jump, long jump, pole vault, and 110H in the multi-event... Placed sixth in the open 110H with a season best of 14.56...  Won the high jump at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge (6-8) and Causeway Classic (6-8.75)... Triumphantly returned from injury to open up his season with a second-place high jump at Mt. Sac Relays (6-10.75).

2016: BIG WEST CHAMPION in the high jump (6-11.5)... NCAA West Regional qualifier... PR of 7-0.25 from his victory at Mondo Team Challenge was No.2 all-time at UC Davis... One of only three Aggies to surpass 7-0 in the event... Also placed third in the long jump (23-9w), seventh in the 110H (14.55), and seventh in the decathlon (6779) to single-handely score 20 points for the fourth place Aggies... His marks in the 110H and decathlon were No. 7 and No. 8 in school history, while his long jump of 24-00.25 from USATF Junior Nationals was good for No. 9... Claimed victories at Brutus Hamilton Challenge, Causeway Classic Dual, and Mondo Team Challenge in the high jump... Opened at Chico Multi Event Classic with a 6710 score.

DAVIS SENIOR HS: Ran cross country and track for the Blue Devils… Competed in multitude of events, preparing for the decathlon... Most notable events were the 110m hurdles (14.33) and the high jump (6-09)... Voted team MVP junior and senior year… Also voted captain junior and senior year... Led the Blue Devils to its first ever pair of back-to-back section titles... Current school record holder in the high jump.

PERSONAL: Parents are Lauren and Rick, who both graduated from Chico State… Has two siblings, Kaitlin and Jill, who also attended Chico State… Most people don’t know that he is referred to as “Local Track Star Kyle Clancy,” and that he was president of the Davis Senior HS esports club… Proudest personal accomplishment and career sports highlight happened at UC Davis, where he hit a half-court shot and immediately hit a full-court shot in basketball with three teammates there to witness it at the ARC his sophomore year… Favorite movie is Shaun of the Dead… Top three things on his bucket list include visiting Florence, owning a company, and qualifying for the Olympic Trials… Chose UC Davis for the great academics and great teammates.
