2014:Ran 1,500, 3,000 and 5,000 for the Aggies, finishing fifth in the 1,500 at the Big West Championships and ninth in the 5K... Earned first-place points in the 3K during the Causeway Dual... Posted season-best marks of 4:31.31 in the 1,500, 9:57.96 in the 3,000 and 18:02.40 in the 5,000.... Took fourth at Cal's Brutus Hamilton Open... Ran both the mile and 3,000 during indoor season, posting marks of 4:56.19 and 9:39.07, respectively, at meets at University of Washington.
2013: Ran a season-best 4:34.31 in the 1,500 at Sacramento State's Mondo Mid-Major... Grabbed 2nd place at the Woody Wilson Classic and later participated at the Big West Championships... Also ran the 3,000, posting a season-best 6th at the Stanford Opener.
CROSS COUNTRY: Helped highlight her 2014 cross country season with a 12th place showing (21:10.12) at the Big West Championships... Opened the year with a third-place showing at the Aggie Open... Participated in the NCAA West Regional... Appeared in five meets as a freshman, including Big West Conference Championships... Crossed as Aggies' No. 2 scorer (46th overall) at Bronco Invitational.
SIMI VALLEY HS '12: Twice earned All-Ventura County first-team cross country honors... Placed 3rd at Southern Section cross country prelims as a junior, 5th as a senior... Went on to finish 17th at CIF-SS finals in 2011, helping team win Division II title... Competed at state cross country championship in 2010, crossing in 35th... Placed 9th at section track meet in both 1,600 (5:04.27) and 3,200 (10:56.58) as a junior... Took 11th in 1,600 at sections the following year... Selected as school's Female Athlete of the Year.
PERSONAL: Born in Van Nuys, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology... Parents are Eric & Marjorie Barr... Little-known fact: did not make SVHS cross country team until her junior year, yet won Most Valuable Runner honors as a senior.
