2023: BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC…MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC SCHOLAR ATHLETE…Participated in ten meets (seven outdoor, three indoor)…Set team highs in the 400 meter race (55.60 – Causeway Classic (personal best)), 4x100 meter relay (46.87 – Causeway Classic) and 4x400 meter relay (3:45.82 – Causeway Classic)…Finished 1st in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of  3:52.45 at the Aggie Open…Set personal best in 200 meter race with a time of 25.88 at Cardinal Classic…Had 17 top ten finishes…
 
2022: Participated in eight meets (seven outdoor, one indoor)…Had team best time in the 400 meter race (57.03 – Brutus Hamilton Invitational), 4x100 meter relay (47.26 – Causeway Classic) and 4x400 meter relay (3:58.13 – Causeway Classic)…Had 12 first place finishes

2021: Placed 13th in 400 at Big West Conference Championships with season-best 59.85... Also led off 5th-place 4x400 (3:55.47) at league meet... Ran 800 on three occasions, topping out at 2:20.27 at CSUN’s Red & Black Invite (4/2). 

2020: Finished sixth in the 400m at the Cal Invite (3/7) with a time of 59.70... Also finished 16th in the 200m (27.29)... That was the only meet the Aggies competed in since COVID-19 forced a premature end to the season.

ROOSEVELT HS ’19: CIF state runner-up in 4x400 relay, posting 3:46.60 in prelims, 3:47.94 in final... Advanced after winning Southern Section (3:43.77) and Southern Section Masters (3:43.98)... Also placed 6th at CIF-SS finals in 800 (2:15.80), improving from 14th in each of sophomore and junior years... Hit 800 PR as a sophomore: 2:13.91 at Inland Empire Championships.

PERSONAL: Hailing from Eastvale, CA, Alexys is the daughter of Lewis and Cydney Ford and sister to her older brother, Garrett. Her father, now a police officer, played football at Kent State and her brother played football at Bellevue University. 

Alexys loves to try new foods, hike, and skate. Her sports hero is Allyson Felix. She hopes to use her degree in Psychology and Human Physiology to one day become a physical therapist for a professional sports team. 

When asked why UC Davis, Alexys responded "UC Davis athletics offers so many resources to their athletes that help them develop into a better student, athlete, and person."
