NAPA, Calif. – UC Davis women's golf maintained its solid positing on the leaderboard, thanks to a strong round of 69 by
Elina Kuang, allowing the Aggies to finish tied for sixth overall at the Chevron Silverado Showdown putting them ahead of or on par with four ranked programs.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE:
- The Aggies finished tied with No. 50 San Jose State, and better than No. 39 CSU Fullerton, No. 45 Oregon State and No. 44 California
- Using six birdies across her round, Kuang shot -3 on the day ending her round with four birdies over the final nine holes
- Overall, Kuang finished +1 for the tournament, tying for 18th overall to give the Aggies a top 20 finisher
- Michelle Ho came across the line alone at 33rd (+5) and both Lauren Calderon and Yu "Yoyo" Bai tied for 37th at +7 to give the Aggies four inside the top 40
