NAPA, Calif. – UC Davis women's golf used a balanced day across its lineup to climb the leaderboards into a tie for fifth, moving two spots from seventh to position themselves for a top five finish at the Chevron Silverado Showdown.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE:
- The Aggies shot the fourth lowest round on the day, improving on their first round by three strokes
- UC Davis now sits ahead of No. 45 Oregon State, No. 48 Colorado, No. 44 California and No. 39 Cal State Fullerton using its top round to move ahead of the ranked programs
- Lauren Caldreon gave the Aggies the best round on the day, shooting a 71 (-1) that included birdies on holes three and five and a consistent round of 13-straight pars
- Michelle Ho, who shot a 76 in the second round, still sits inside the top 20, coming into the clubhouse tied for 19th overall shooting +1 for the tournament
