THE SHORT STORY: The final round of The Prestige was canceled on Wednesday due to high winds, reverting the final team standings to the 36-hole results established on Tuesday. UC Davis officially concludes the event in 19th place with a two-round total of 599 (+31). Lequan Wang finished as the top Aggie, tying for 41st individually, while Stanford claimed the team title. Despite the team round cancellation, the individual tournament at GC Terra Lago was completed as scheduled.
FIRST TEE
- Lequan Wang finished as the low Aggie for the week, posting a two-day total of 146 (+4). His tournament was highlighted by a 3-under 68 in the opening round.
- Curtis Da Silva and Ryan Firpo both tied for 66th place with matching totals of 150 (+8). Da Silva closed his week with the team's best score in Round 2 (74), while Firpo remained steady with back-to-back rounds of 75.
- Zhenxian Zhang finished in a tie for 94th at 153 (+11) during his collegiate debut.
- Treed Huang placed tied for 110th with a total of 156 (+14).
- Shaunak Nair competed in the individual-only field at GC at Terra Lago, battling through all three rounds to finish in a tie for 10th place with a 225 (+9) total.
- With the team round cancellation, Stanford (-5) was declared the champion, followed by Texas Tech (-2) and Oregon State (-1).
