DAVIS, Calif. — Entering their second season in the Big 12, UC Davis lacrosse is poised to make another leap in the new conference with their offensive attack.
In an attacker's room featuring six upperclassmen and four underclassmen, the 2026 Aggies bring back a blend of fresh and familiar faces on offense.
Lauren Picardi - Graduate
A 24-goal scorer last season, Picardi returns to the Aggies for her fifth season in the blue and gold.
After limited action in both 2023 and 2024, Picardi broke out last season with three hat tricks. In the Aggies' first-ever Big 12 game against Florida on March 28, Picardi broke out with a career-high four goals with a SOG% of .875.
Reese Loseke - Senior
Entering her fourth season as an Aggie, Loseke looks to build on a strong all-around campaign from a year ago. She made an immediate impact in the season opener against Cal on February 8, setting the tone for her team from the jump.
Now a senior, Loseke will look to build off the last three seasons to deliver a productive final campaign.
Annie Cimperman - Senior
Following a record-breaking 103 draw controls last season, the Moraga native is back for another go-around for her senior season.
In addition to becoming the first player in program history with 100+ draw controls in a season, Cimperman also had 10+ draw controls in four separate games last year, including a career-high 14 in the regular season finale against San Diego State on April 26.
Erica Sawicki - Junior
Entering her third season out of Littleton, Colorado, Sawicki looks to continue to build off a 2025 season where she made seven appearances.
Now an upperclassman, Sawicki will look to use her experience from the past two seasons to make her mark this year.
Cami Johnson - Junior
Also from Colorado, the Boulder native is poised for a breakout season after making 12 starts a year ago.
In 16 games played in 2025, Johnson scored 11 goals, including three multi-goal games. She scored a season-high four points twice, including in the home opener against Cal on February 8 and against the East Carolina Pirates on March 12.
Paige Davis - Junior
Entering her third season as an Aggie, Davis has continued to climb the depth chart and is prepared to make her collegiate debut in 2026.
The former captain of the varsity lacrosse team, hailing from Campolindo High School, Davis put together a successful career. As a senior, she led her team to a 14-4 season, scoring an impressive 55 goals and 39 assists for 94 points.
Jane Fox - Sophomore
Hailing from Baltimore, the former member of the All-Big 12 Newcomer Team looks to build off of a strong freshman campaign from a year ago.
In addition to her 13 goals and five assists for 18 total points, Fox also tallied four ground balls, three draw controls, and two caused turnovers. Against Cal on February 8, she scored the first goal of the season on her way to a four-point hat trick, her first of four multi-goal games during the year.
Sierra Schmidt - Sophomore
After redshirting her first year, Schmidt enters year two for the Aggies, looking to make an impact on the field.
During her storied career with Casa Grande High School in Rohnert Park, Schmidt compiled a team-high 169 goals across 44 contests, including 74 goals in 12 games during her junior year for an average of 6.2 goals per game.
Ava Horrocks - Freshman
Entering her first collegiate season after a storied career at San Ramon Valley High School, Horrocks will look to translate her success at the high school level to help elevate the Aggies.
The former varsity lacrosse and basketball player was versatile during her time with the Wolves, serving as team captain as a senior while playing as both an attacker and midfielder. As a sophomore in 2023, she had her best season with 38 goals and 29 assists for 67 points, ranking in the top 100 in the state of California, while helping lead San Ramon Valley to a perfect 24-0 season.
Lia Wilgus - Freshman
Also from San Ramon Valley, Wilgus plays alongside Horrocks for the fourth straight season, also serving as a team captain during her senior season a year ago.
As a junior during the 2024 season, Wilgus posted her best season, scoring 26 goals while also picking up 22 ground balls, both ranking in the top 60 in the competitive California North Coast Section. In a matchup with Carondelet on April 9, she scored her first and only hat trick of the season with four goals on five shots on goal.
Kate Donnelley - Freshman
A high level performer for Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Donnelley also brings versatility to the Aggies, playing as a midfielder and attacker for the Mustangs.
As a senior in 2025, Donnelley was a catalyst for a Mira Costa team that finished the year 18-1, battling their way to the CIF Southern Section Semifinals. In a game against El Segundo, she broke out with a season-high five goals.
UP NEXT
Following a home scrimmage against Dominican on Jan. 31, the Aggies open the 2026 season at home against Stanford on Saturday, Feb. 7. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. PT.
