UC Davis enters the week with a 2-3 record after recording a win against New Mexico at home before winter break.

UC Davis hosted their annual Blue & Gold Meet, as well as the Alumni Meet, giving the team a fun opportunity to prepare for the season.

UC Davis recorded several first-place finishes against SJSU, including senior Gabi Bellin in the 200 freestyle, freshman Ezmee Jones in the 1000 freestyle, junior Emily Scheberies in the 100 backstroke, sophomore Katherine Lim in the 3-meter diving event, freshman Ella Ackerman in the 500 freestyle, and senior Leila Busch in the 1-meter event.

Sophomore Katherine Lim qualified for the NCAA Zone Meet with her 1-meter diving score of 273.90 at Nevada.

The Aggies recorded wins in almost every event against Cal State East Bay, except the 1650 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, and 100 butterfly.

UC Davis recorded many podium finishes in their meet against UC San Diego. Including a first-place finish in the 200 butterfly by Zoe Childers, second in the 200 medley relay, second in the 200 freestyle by McKenna Valenta, and first-place finishes in the 50 and 100 freestyle.

The Aggies recorded two new school records in the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay while at the UTU Trailblazer Invite.

Mackenzie Young posted a new school record in the women's platform at the Lumberjack Invite.

Against New Mexico, the Aggies ' sprint success followed as UC Davis swept the 50-meter freestyle event.

In stroke events against New Mexico, UC Davis earned victories in the 100-meter backstroke, 100-meter breaststroke, 200-meter breaststroke, and 200-meter backstroke.

On the boards against the Lobos, Mackenzie Young and Katherine Lim led the way, with Young winning the 3-meter event and Lim capturing first on the 1-meter to secure valuable points.
ABOUT THE OPPONENTS

UC Santa Barbara enters the week 1-1 after participating in a quad meet at UCLA, where they defeated Iowa and Utah, but fell to UCLA.

The Aggies and the Gauchos last faced off last season, where the Aggies fell by only two points to the Gauchos at home with a final score of 146-148.

This will be a swim-only meet.
