• Elise Ramsden won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.08.

• The Aggies finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:34.22).

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UC Davis opened the meet with solid relay performances, placing third and fourth in the 200-yard medley relay before earning a runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

• The Aggies made an early statement in the backstroke events, as Ramsden took first in the 100 back and Scheberies followed with a win in the 200 back.

• In distance freestyle, Ackerman delivered a key win in the 500 free, while Elena Gingras added points with a fourth-place finish.

• McKenna Valenta and Gabi Bellin contributed strong swims in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing second and third, respectively.

• Butterfly events provided additional scoring, with Zoe Childers finishing second in the 200 fly and third in the 100 fly.
