HOW IT HAPPENED

UC Davis opened the meet with solid relay performances, placing third and fourth in the 200-yard medley relay before earning a runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Aggies made an early statement in the backstroke events, as Ramsden took first in the 100 back and Scheberies followed with a win in the 200 back.
