DAVIS, Calif. - Allstate and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics announced their nominees for the 2025 Good Works Fall Team on Tuesday. UC Davis volleyball junior hitter
Breeze Czapinski was named to the list of nominees for her work on and off the court.
The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team is an initiative to recognize and honor student-athletes who demonstrate levels of volunteerism and civic engagement that are above and beyond their success and achievements in the classroom and competition. The goal of the program is to provide recognition for these future community leaders, their teams, academic institutions, and the communities they support.
This season, Czapinski was nominated for her work with TEAM Impact, a non-profit that matches children facing serious illness with their favorite college sports teams, allowing them to create life-long memories with top universities and athletes across the country.
As the TEAM Impact representative for UC Davis, Czapinski handles communication between the campus and the organization, most recently attending a TEAM Impact summit meeting earlier this summer.
In April, Czapinski and the rest of the volleyball team had the opportunity to sign 13-year-old Maren from Elk Grove, California, to their roster as a part of TEAM Impact, showcasing their commitment to making an impact in their community and for those who live in it.
The full 20-person Good Works Team will be announced at the end of August.
