DAVIS, Calif. — Following a standout junior season, UC Davis volleyball's
Breeze Czapinski has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, an honor that places her among the top student-athletes in the classroom and on the court.
To qualify, honorees must hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA from the most recent term and appear in a minimum of 90 percent of matches played or start in at least 66 percent of an institution's matches.
A Big West Honorable Mention this season, Czapinski appeared in 93 sets while posting 260 kills to rank second on the team.
Posting double-digit kills 15 separate times, she was named the Big West's Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 13 after leading the team with 17 kills in a win over Long Beach State.
