LONG BEACH, Calif. –  Stretched across two weeks of exciting Big West Championships action, freshman Justin Reichenberg and junior Hannah Crone were the lone Aggie competitors for the Multis Event Weekend.
 
Crone took up arms in the Heptathlon, earning 12th overall for the Aggies. She scored a 4448 to set a personal record in scoring for the Heptathlon. Her biggest push was placing fifth overall in the 200 meter dash, she clocked in a speedy 25.42 to put her competition on their heels. She also put up a new personal best in the shot put event, throwing 8.79 meters for to break her own record.
 
Crone took ninth overall in the long jump, and 10th in the 100 meter hurdles overall and 13th overall in the high jump.
 
Reichenberg's debut to the Big West was a successful feat, placing sixth overall with a score of 6422 and breaking most of his personal records across the events. His highest placing was tying for second in the pole vault, launching over 4.41 meters of air.
 
Some other great efforts were seen in the 110 meter hurdles, sealing the fourth place finish in 15.79 seconds. He collected another fourth place title in the 400 meter dash, going 50.90 for a new personal best.
 
He placed seventh overall in the high jump and the 100 meter dash, making impressive leaps and bounds of self-improvement in both. Ninth in the shot put, recording a personal best with an 11.88-meter throw. Reichenberg's long jump was also improved by .25 meters, and improved his 1,500 meter run by a whopping seven seconds.
