STANFORD, Calif. – Yu "Yoyo" Bai led UC Davis women's golf with an even par day to sit tied for 23rd overall in a deep and talented field and overall as a team the Ags sit tied for 12th after the opening round of the Stanford Intercollegiate.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE:
- Bai nailed four birdies over her round, scoring under par at 12, 13, one and four as her even par round placed her inside the top 25
- Lauren Calderon drained three birdies, scoring at one, four and eight. Calderon finished on the front nine where she shot -1 including a birdie on the par three eight before putting home a roughly 20-foot putt from the edge of the green at nine to save par and end her round with a highlight
- Michelle Ho (17) and Vani Karimanal (four) each scored one birdie over their opening round on the farm
