The short story: Washington State women's tennis triumphed 7-0 over UC Davis, dominating the singles matches, despite the Aggies securing a win in one of the three doubles matchups. 
 

COURTSIDE 

• Washington State swept the Aggies in all singles matches. 

• Washington State took the early lead grabbing the doubles point and beating the Ags 2-1. 

• Senior Claire Galerkin and Junior Kaia Wolfe were the lone doubles match winners for the Ags today, beating their opponent out in a fierce match. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Aggies opened up the morning with double action with Mika Ikemori and Isabella Bringas' match to conclude first. The duo couldn't pull through dropping their match to the Cougars. 

• The second doubles match to conclude was between Solia Valentine and Polina Marakhtanova. This pair fought hard, but ultimately, the point went to their opponents. 

• Galerkin and Wolfe had an exciting match fending off the Cougars in the final doubles match to conclude. 

• On to singles, Ikemori and Marakhtanova were the first to finish their matches, putting up a good fight but being taken down by Washington State. 

• Two more Aggies would fall as Valentine and first-year Maya Youseff finished their matches unable to take down their Cougar opponents. 

• Bringas and Wolfe were the last two Aggies to finish their matches, falling to the Cougars despite fighting for every point.
