Event: Causeway Classic Dual
Location: Sacramento, Calif. (Hornet Stadium)

The Short Story: UC Davis men's and women's track and field teams fell to its Causeway rivals, Sacramento State, for the second straight year at the Causeway Classic Dual meet on Friday night at Hornet Stadium. The women were defeated 114-84 while men fell 104-83.
 
WOMEN'S EVENTS (TRACK)

• Maddie Kackley and Brooke Butler headlined the distance events with their first-place finishes in the 1500m and 5000m respectively.

 WOMEN'S EVENTS (FIELD)

• Sarah Graessley came out victorious in the pole vault, reaching 3.75m to ascend to the top spot.
• Ashpreet Kler posted 51.67 in the long jump to earn another first-place finish for the Aggies.

MEN'S EVENTS (TRACK)

• Samuel Wilson raced to first place in the 100m, clocking in at a blistering 10.63.
• Kian Maher impressed in the 200m and 400m, winning each event convincingly.
• Michael Cooper won the 1500m while Ethan Brooks took the 1500m.
• Chris Coles came up with the victory in the 3k steeple chase with his time of 9:11.80.

MEN'S EVENTS (FIELD)

• Ryan Ishibashi won the pole vault competition (4.87m).
• Corey Moore delivered a solid throw of 13.98m in the shot put, earning first place.
