SACRAMENTO – UC Davis distance ace Brianna Weidler extended her record-breaking season by qualifying for the National Championship meet in Austin, Texas. The Big West Champion clocked a 15:49.75 to clinch the 12^th and final qualifying spot in the 5,000m.

In other action during the four-day meet, newcomer Elizabeth Churchill placed 38^th in the high jump with a clearance of 5-5.75 (1.67m). Kerrington Smith was 48^th in the triple jump with a leap of 38-1.50 (11.62m).

In the discus Corey Moore placed 42^nd with a throw of 171-4 (52.22m). Sierra Atkins started off the regional meet for the Aggies by finishing 43^rd in the 10,000m with a time of 34:39.12.

The NCAA Championships will be held in Austin on June 6-10.
