2023: NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP PARTICIPANT… BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC…MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC SCHOLAR ATHLETE…BIG WEST CONFERENCE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (4-18)…Participated in eight meets (seven outdoor, one indoor)…Had 34th fastest time in nation with a personal and team best time of 15:48.57 in the 5,000 meters at Bryan Clay Invitational…Finished 21st at NCAA Championships in 5,000 meters with 16:21.70 time…Finished first on two occasions – 3,000 meters in MPSF Indoor Track and Field Championship (9:34.27 – personal best) and 5,000 meters in Big West Conference Track and Field Championship (16.09.74)…Had five top ten finishes…

2021 XC: BIG WEST CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR… BIG WEST ALL-CONFERENCE… Placed third at the Big West Conference Championship with a time of 20:38.6 to join Chloe Arriaga and Eva Goodisson as the third straight Aggie to earn freshman of the year honors… Placed 62nd at the NCAA West Regional with a time of 21:08.8… Made her Aggie cross country debut at the Stump Invitational where she finished third with a time of 20:13.1… Placed 43rd at the Dellinger Invitational with a time of 21:00.3… Posted a 21:24.1 at the FSU Invite/Pre-Nationals to finish 118th overall.

GREAT OAK HS ’21: Captured Southwestern League individual title in brief but undefeated senior cross country season... Previous league finishes where 8th, 13th and 10th from junior through freshman seasons, respectively... Team won SWL title every year... Competed at CIF state meet and NXN Nike Cross Nationals in 2018... Placed 14th in 1,600 at Southern Section Division 1 track meet as a sophomore, but lost all of junior season and most of senior track campaign due to COVID-19 pandemic and/or injury... Four-year Honor Roll member with 4.0 GPA for four years... Earned Citrus Belt Area Athletic Directors Association Female Athlete of the Year in 2021.

PERSONAL: Born in Riverside, Calif....  Majoring in animal science, with aspirations in vet med... Parents are Amber Weidler and late Mark Weidler... One of four siblings, along with Anthony Ruano, Ashley Ruano and identical twin Kylie Weidler... Note to announcers: pronounces name “Bree-AH-nah.”
