Atkins, in her first ever 10,000m on the oval, raced to a runner-up finish at the Big West Championships. Her time of 33:52:59 is the third-fastest in school history. She will be competing at the prelims for the first time in her career.

Moore is making his first career appearance at the NCAA meet. The junior launched a personal best throw of 181-10 (55.43m) to place third overall at the Big West Championship. The mark is the second-best in program history.

Churchill makes the NCAA postseason in her first season in the program. The newcomer cleared the third-best height in program history when she leaped 5-9.25 (1.76m) at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational earlier this season. Churchill finished sixth in her first appearance at the Big West Championship.

Smith will also be making her debut at the NCAA meet as she enters the prelims with a school-record mark of 41-3.75 (12.59m) in the triple jump. Smith became just the second jumper in program history to leap over 41 feet as she posted the lifetime best against rival Sacramento State at the Causeway Classic Dual.

Weidler continues her magical sophomore campaign fresh off claiming the triple crown in conference championships. After earning the Big West Cross Country individual title and the MPSF 3,000m gold, she completed the trifecta with a win in the Big West Championship 5,000m. The Temecula native set the school record and became just the second Aggie to race under the 16-minute mark in the 5,000m when she clocked a 15:48.57 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

To advance to the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas, the top-12 in each field event with no ties will punch their ticket. In the 5,000m, the top-5 in each heat and the next best two times will advance and the top-12 in the 10,000m will make the trek to Texas. The Championship Meet will begin on Wednesday, June 7.
