DAVIS, Calif. – As was the case during its season-opening weekend, UC Davis will compete in two duals in as many days this week starting with Saturday's road match at Pacific. First serve in Stockton is set for 12 p.m. Following that matchup against the Tigers, women's tennis will square off against Cal Poly in Sunday's 11 a.m. match at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. Please be advised that fans are unable to watch home events this season due to Yolo County guidelines and game day protocols.

Before Pacific welcomes the Aggies, it will host Fresno State in a non-conference dual set for Friday afternoon. After facing the Bulldogs, the Tigers will compete against a UC Davis team that won the last four overall head-to-head contests and the last four played in Stockton.

In last year's home dual against Pacific, UC Davis trailed 2-0 before winning three singles matches; the match-clinching point took place at No. 4 when Kristina Breisacher won the third set by a 7-6 score.

Pacific is 1-2 this season after starting its year with consecutive losses against Nevada and Cal. Following its canceled Feb. 14 home match vs. Cal Poly, the Tigers rebounded with a 7-0 win against Fresno Pacific.

After facing UCSB in its inaugural Big West match of the Year, UC Davis will host its other Central Coast league counterpart on Sunday. Cal Poly opened its year with matching 6-1 home wins versus Grand Canyon and BYU before ending its three-match homestand with a sweep over Fresno Pacific.

Before the Mustangs head to Davis, they will face Sacramento State on Saturday.

Last year's 4-1 loss in San Luis Obispo was an anomaly since UC Davis has dominated this series, in recent seasons, by winning eight of the last 10 played against CP. The Aggies also collected wins in each of the last four head-to-head duals played at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
