2019-20: ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE… BIG WEST ALL-ACADEMIC… BIG WEST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (Jan. 29)… Finished final season as an Aggie with an 11-8 overall, 7-6 dual singles record, going 2-4 in Big West play… Named league’s Athlete of the Week after a 3-2 weekend in Portland, Ore., defeating Portland’s Neli Sunjic to help UC Davis earn the road victory… Partnered with Nikita Pradeep in the fall, and Shirley Hall during the spring season, to finish 12-9 overall in doubles play… With Hall, compiled 7-6 dual record at No. 2… The duo finished 2-3 in conference play, including a win over Cal Poly to clinch the doubles point… Won three doubles matches 6-0 (Sonoma State, Puget Sound, Santa Clara)… In the fall, partnered with Pradeep for a 5-3 record together… Duo reached the semifinals of the Cal Invitational Gold Draw, and the SMC Fall Invite A Flight… Remainder of the spring dual season was canceled on Mar. 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2018-19: Finished the year with a 7-8 dual record, competing primarily at the No. 4 singles spot… Recorded third set wins over Pacific’s Maya Lopez and St. Mary’s Jordan Harris… In doubles, posted an 8-9 overall, and 7-8 dual record… Played primarily with Jessica Walker at the No. 3 position, defeating Utah State’s Annaliese County and Lucy Octave, 6-3, in their first match together… Made just one appearance in the fall due to injury… Competed at the ITA Northwest Regional in doubles, partnering with Sara Tsukamoto to reach the round of 32.
2017-2018: NCAA DIVISION I HERO OF THE WEEK (Mar. 24)… BIG WEST SECOND TEAM SINGLES… Finished the season with a 14-14 overall, 9-11 dual, and 3-4 conference singles record… Received 72% of the total votes for the Hero of the Week award thanks to a big upset win over Idaho’s No. 39 singles-ranked player Marianna Petrei, defeating her in straight-sets at No. 1 singles on Mar. 24… Finished with a 19-11 overall, 11-8 dual, 8-3 tournament, and 2-5 conference doubles record…Led the team with partner Lani-Rae Green in most doubles wins for the dual portion of the season… Went 10-3 in doubles at the No. 2 position… In the tournament season, won the Flight “B” doubles crown with partner Nikita Pradeep at the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational… Advanced to the final round in the Gold Flight consolation draw with Lani-Rae Green at the Cal Nike Fall Invitational.
2016-17: Ended her freshman season with a 17-12 overall, 13-9 dual, 4-3 tournament and 3-5 conference singles record... Tied for second amongst the team in singles wins... Led the team in combined singles and doubles wins (36)... Eight of her 13 dual victories took place at No. 3... Began the year by going undefeated through four matches at the Cal Nike Fall Invitational... Finished 19-8 overall, 13-7 dual, 6-1 tournament and 4-3 conference in doubles... Lead the team in doubles victories... Played every doubles dual at No. 2... Went 15-7 overall and 9-6 dual with partner Isabella von Ebbe... The pair started off tournament play with a six game win streak through both the Cal Nike Fall Invitational (9/30-10/02) and Saint Mary's Fall Invitational (10-07-10/09), before falling to Cal Poly at the ITA Northwest Regional Championship in their only loss together... Went 4-1 in dual play with Lani-Rae Green, including a perfect 3-0 record in conference over UC Irvine (4/02), Long Beach State (4/07) and UC Riverside (4/22).
SANTA MARGARITA CATHOLIC HS '16: Earned four varsity letters... Received Orange County Varsity Athlete of the Week on numerous occasions... Also earned Scholar-Athlete distinction throughout her entire high school career.
PERSONAL: Parents are Lorraine and Mark Breisacher... The youngest of three siblings... Matt and Melissa are her older brother and sister; both graduated from UC San Diego... Most people do not know that she makes the best smoothies in the world... The Barnes Tennis Center (San Diego) is her favorite facility that she has competed in... If she could play another sport at UC Davis, she would choose soccer... Stan Wawrinka is her sports hero... Chose to attend UC Davis because it was a place where she "felt like I belonged."
