WAIKOLOA, Hawaii -- Senior
Tanner Hughes carded UC Davis' low final round of 1-under-par 71 while the Aggies settled into 16th place among the 18-team field at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate men's golf tournament at the Waikoloa Resort Kings' Course Saturday.
Hughes finished in a tie for 42nd place on the final individual leaderboard with a 54-hole total of 215, one stroke in front of sophomore teammate
Thomas Hutchison, who tied for 48th. Senior
Jesse Bratz added a 1-over 73 on Saturday for a 1-over 217 total, part of a split of 54th place.

Daniel Kim rounded out the UC Davis lineup in 90th and 98th place, respectively. UC Davis closed out with a three-round total of 873 strokes, one behind 15th-place Colorado.
Top-ranked Oklahoma State claimed both the team and individual titles. The defending national champs totaled 817 strokes for 47 under par, 10 in front of No. 16 Auburn. Meanwhile, No. 1 individual Matthew Wolff fired a 7-under 65 on Saturday to claim the tournament medalist honors.
UC Davis returns to action at its own Prestige Presented by Charles Schwab from February 18-20. The 19th edition of this tournament takes place at PGA WEST.
