IN THE POLLS: After opening the year with 71 votes in the preseason College Insider Mid-Major poll, the Aggies have hung on to a spot in the Nov. 12 rankings, receiving two votes according to the Nov. 12 poll... Saint Mary's is also among those receiving votes, picking up nine votes last week… A new poll is scheduled to be released on Nov. 19.

ABOUT THE GAELS: Saint Mary's enters the week with a 1-2 overall record, posting a win over UC Santa Barbara while falling to Nevada and Wyoming… Tuesday's contest will be the first for the Gaels since Nov. 10 against the Cowgirls… Both of Saint Mary's losses have come by a combined eight points… Junior guard Madeline Holland leads a trio of Gaels averaging double figures, scoring at a clip of 14.3 ppg and shooting .552 from the floor… Junior Emily Codding (14.0 ppg, 9.3 rpg) and sophomore Sam Simons (13.3 ppg) are also in double figures... Saint Mary's finished 21-12 overall and 12-6 in the WCC last season, reaching the second round of the WNIT.

SERIES NOTES: UC Davis leads the all-time series with Saint Mary's by a 14-12 count dating back to 1978… The Aggies have won the last four meetings with the Gaels, two of those coming at McKeon Pavilion… Two of the four wins have come by two points, however, the last meeting in Moraga saw UC Davis come away with a 74-50 victory… The Aggies are 5-6 against the Gaels on the road.

CONFERENCE CALL: Tuesday's contest against Saint Mary's marks the second of three straight contests against the West Coast Conference — a run that began with Saturday's contest against Santa Clara… UC Davis is 49-54 all-time against the current WCC alignment, including a 20-28 record away from home.
