Aggies Head To Malibu To Take On Pepperdine In First Round of WNIT

DAVIS, Calif.  — UC Davis women's basketball is headed down the coast for the first round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) on Thursday, Mar. 19 to take on Pepperdine at 6:00 p.m. PT, the tournament announced on Monday morning.

Finishing sixth place in the West Coast Conference (WCC) standings this season, Pepperdine fell to fellow WNIT participant San Francisco in the third round of the conference tournament after a 19 win regular season.

The winner of Thursday's matchup will move on to face Southern Utah University in the second round. Should the Aggies emerge victorious, they will host the Thunderbirds on Monday, Mar. 23.

Tickets for the game are available on Pepperdine's website. The contest will be streamed live on ESPN+.
