DAVIS, Calif. – Known for its success on the course — UC Davis extended its 11-year postseason appearance streak when it competed at the NCAA Regionals last May — women's golf is equally as successful in the classroom after posting a 3.54 grade point average, the highest figure of any in-season sport during the spring quarter.

This is the latest academic accomplishment for a group of student-athletes that attend the sixth-ranked public school in the nation; the program also earned another Public Recognition Award, when the NCAA released its latest APR report last spring, after posting a perfect score of 1,000.
