RENO, Nev. -- The UC Davis women's tennis team faced a tough loss at the McArthur Tennis Center on Friday afternoon after being shut out by Nevada's team, 4-0. Going into tomorrow's matchup, the Aggies are now 14-6 overall for the dual season.
The Wolf Pack started and finished the match with an unbeatable edge. Starting with doubles play, the home team sealed the doubles point after the first two finished matches of the day. Similarly in singles play, the Nevada powerhouse continued to build on their match success as they went on to secure the first three completed singles matches at the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 6 spots to officially conclude the dual at 4-0 Wolf Pack victory.
The UC Davis women's tennis team quickly returns to action on Saturday morning as they make the travel back to Davis, Calif., to welcome Sacramento State's team to the Marya Welch Tennis Center. This meet will serve as both the home finale of the 2017-2018 season, and an event where the senior class of three will be recognized and honored for their valuable contributions to the program.
